Who we serve

RCM priorities by provider type.

A hospital and a physician group may face similar payment delays for different reasons. Explore how the starting point can vary by setting.

Health systems

Aligning revenue cycle priorities across sites.

When locations handle billing differently, start by identifying where a common workflow would help and where local flexibility matters.

Starting questionWhere would a shared process make the biggest difference?
Hospitals

Understanding recurring claim denials.

Trace a denial pattern back through registration, documentation, and billing to identify which handoff deserves a closer look.

Starting questionAt what point in the process do recurring issues first appear?
Ambulatory surgery centers

Finding delays between scheduling and payment.

Review how scheduling, authorization, and billing teams pass information along to see where missed details may slow claims.

Starting questionWhich handoffs create the most follow-up work for your team?
Physician groups

Making follow-up manageable for a small billing team.

Look at which tasks take the most time and whether a workflow change, a technology tool, or outside support could help.

Starting questionWhere does your team spend the most time chasing payment?

The approach

Start with the problem.

The right solution depends on your team, your systems, and what you need to improve. Steve starts by understanding all three.

  1. Understand the challenge

Discuss where the process breaks down, what your team has already tried, and how you would define improvement.

  2. Evaluate the options

Consider people, technology, and services against your workflows, priorities, and ability to put changes in place.

  3. Connect with the right resources

Identify the resources or partners worth a closer look and the questions to ask before choosing a next step.
